Orientation is an important step in transitioning successfully to Ferris State University from high school, another institution or the military. All new students to Ferris State University are required to complete an orientation. Orientation for incoming freshmen is a one day session that occurs on campus and includes class registration. Eligible transfer students have the option of completing an online orientation or attending an on campus session. The financial aid process can be overwhelming, especially the first time. Understanding how the process works can alleviate a lot of stress and help you obtain the best possible financial aid package.
