For those persons interested in participating in NCAA Division I or II intercollegiate sports programs, specific requirements must be fulfilled for you to be eligible for competition and practice during your first year of attendance at a NCAA college or university. Join the Dawg Pound at a Division I Hockey game, or catch the Division II Men’s Basketball or Women’s Volleyball teams in action. With all on-campus sports events except hockey free to Ferris students, it is easy to find a sport to share with friends and enjoy while taking a break from studies. As a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference, Ferris competes with other universities, including Wayne State, Grand Valley State and Saginaw Valley State. In the Central Collegiate Hockey Association, the Bulldog Hockey team faces off against Michigan State, Notre Dame, Miami of Ohio and other top universities.
