This document will show you how to change you FSU iNotes password from in the Lotus Notes Client. This can be done if you do not know the web password and need to reset it.

  1. Run Lotus Notes 6 and login.

  2. When the client loads go up to File>Database>Open.




  3. Change the Server field from Local to FSUNOTES1/FSU (by clicking on the down-arrow).




  4. Select Ferris Domain Address Book and click Open.




  5. The address book will open up. Type your last name in the Search for field and click Search.

  6. Click on your name once to select it.

  7. Click Edit Person at the top to edit your profile.

  8. Highlight all encrypted text in the current password field and delete it.




  9. Type in the new password.

  10. Click the Save and Close buttons.

    Note: It may take up to 60 min for the new password to become active.
