How do I tell what version I have?

Right click on the Cisco Clean Access Agent Icon in the bottom right corner of the screen (the system tray) and select About. Look at the version information in the bottom left corner of the screen. The version should be 4.1.3.1, if it isn't, take the following actions to make sure you have the most up to date version of Clean Access Agent.

• Windows XP Users:
1. Uninstall the old version of Cisco Clean Access
• Click on the Start button
• Click on Control Panel
• Click on Add or Remove Programs. If what you see doesn't look like this, then click here to see where your Add/Remove Programs link is
• Find Cisco Clean Access Agent in the list of programs
• Click on Remove
• When you are asked if you want to remove Cisco Clean Access Agent, click yes
2. Reboot your computer
3. When your computer restarts open Internet Explorer
4. The network authentication page should come up. Enter your Ferris Computing ID and Password in the corresponding boxes
5. A Window will open that has the installation instructions, follow those to download the new version.
6. After the program is finished installing it should open the Cisco Clean Access log in page.


• Windows Vista Users:
1. Uninstall the old version of Cisco Clean Access
• Click on the Windows Logo
• Click on Control Panel
• Click on Programs
• Click on Unistall Programs
• Find Cisco Clean Access Agent in the list of programs
• Click on Remove
2. Reboot your computer
3. Click on Internet Explorer
4. The network authentication page should come up. Enter your Ferris Computing ID and Password in the corresponding boxes
5. A window will open that has the installation instructions, follow those to download the new version.
6. After the program has saved to the desktop go to it and right click on it and select 'run as administrator'
7. After the program is finished installing it should open the Cisco Clean Access log in page.
