Is the Birkam Health Center a PPO provider?
The Birkam Health Center direct-bills Blue Shield Community Blue PPO and Blue Preferred
PPO. The Health Center also direct-bills traditional Blue Shield, MESSA, Medicare,
State Medical, and Medicaid (excluding Medicaid Clinic and HMO plans). While we don't
accept any other insurances for direct billing, we do provide you with a computerized
bill suitable for submitting to your own insurance company for reimbursement directly
to you.
