That's exactly what you can achieve with our master's degree program in Career and Technical education. Previous teaching experience is not required. The strength of this program is that it enables career and technical instructors in allied health, business, home economics, and technical education at secondary and postsecondary levels, as well as industrial training and development personnel, to attain an advanced education by building on your previous training and occupational experience.

You can design your degree around one of the following specialties:

  • Instructor concentration is for those of you who are vocational teachers who want to further your teaching skills and competence and enhance your subject-area expertise.
  • Postsecondary Administration concentration is great for you who are seeking a position as a postsecondary administrator such as a community college or university coordinator or department head.
  • Training and Development concentration is for you who wish to work in the training and development field in business or industry.
