Bachelor’s Degrees
Accountancy/Public Accounting
With a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from
Ferris State University, students will be prepared
to offer employers the skills and experience-based
knowledge needed to make them an asset to any
business team. This unique program lets students
tailor their degree to fit their career goals. Graduates
are prepared for key positions in public accounting,
private/industrial accounting, governmental/nonprofit
accounting or accounting education.
Because this program builds on a liberal arts
foundation and includes a solid business core,
graduates will also be in a perfect position to take
advantage of opportunities in non-accounting
business careers, such as banking, consulting, small
business ownership or general management. This
degree also provides a strong platform for graduate
business or law school.

Allied Health Sciences
The Bachelor of Science in Allied Health is a
completion degree for associate degree graduates
in the numerous allied health disciplines where
there is no discipline-specific bachelor’s degree
available. This degree allows two-year health
degree students the opportunity to advance in
their chosen profession or continue into
a graduate program. The curriculum is designed
as a “+2” degree allowing students to transfer
50 credits of their professional coursework.
Many different avenues are available for students
to pursue during their degree completion: a
certificate in gerontology; exposure to health care
management; specialization in health care finance;
or a specialization in personnel practices in
health care.
