Career Services: The Right Path to the Right Career
Ferris helps students succeed in the real world. With that goal in
mind, the Career Services department works with students and alumni to
determine which programs and courses are best suited to help reach
individual goals. These services typically involve the following stages:
- Identifying your strengths/weaknesses while tapping into your natural skills/abilities.
- Exploring occupational clusters and qualities of different careers and defining the
most appropriate career option for you.
- Planning for your career of choice, which includes academic advising and coursework.
- Preparing and searching for employment in your career choice
(may happen at various stages of academic completion, including
internships before and after graduation).
