Elizabeth Hoppe (Michigan College of Optometry '88)
earned a master's degree in public health from Yale University and a
doctorate in public health from the University of Michigan. Formerly an
associate professor at the Southern California College of Optometry, she
is associate dean for academic affairs at the New England College of
Optometry in Boston. She became the first woman to become a Diplomate of
Public Health and Environmental Optometry in the American Academy of
Optometry.
