CPD, after performing a detailed task analysis of an employee’s position in any
business or industry, can create custom written and performance assessment tools
to certify the employee’s knowledge and abilities. Lead employees are involved in
creating the assessment tools and their cut-scores. The tools are validated through
pilot testing, distracter or question analysis, and bias tested. All questions and
exercises are weighted to the findings of a task analysis.
