Officer Paquette is a Patrol Officer responsible for patrolling the campus. Her duties include crime prevention, responding to emergency calls, and protecting persons and property.

She has received fire fighter and first responder training and is employed as a part-time fire fighter for the City of Big Rapids. Officer Paquette has also received training in Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) which she and Sgt. Wing teach to women of the community. She enjoys interacting with students through teaching and other crime prevention activities. She also serves as a Mountain Bike Patrol Officer for the department.
