Seven Emergency Outdoor Broadcast units were installed on the Big Rapids Campus to warn individuals of an emergency while outside. If you hear a solid siren tone, this indicates a shelter-in-place situation. You should take cover indoors and pay attention to University emergency notifications and local media for further instructions. The system can also warn the Big Rapids campus of other emergencies.
