FPW chooses an exceptional Ferris Woman to honor. The following criteria are used for selecting the recipient:

One who has stimulated the awareness of women by:

1. Participating in activities to enhance the status of all women.
2. Encouraging women to exercise their rights and roles in the Ferris State University Community.
3. Continuing to be a model of professionalism to students and other colleagues.
