Student Request for Waiver of
Online Learning Orientation

Students who have demonstrated competency in prior fully online coursework may submit a waiver form in place of completing the online tutorial.

To be eligible to submit a waiver form you must:

  1. Have completed 1 or more courses in a fully online format from Ferris State University.
  2. Have taken that fully online course in the current learning management system (identified as "Ferris Learn" for Summer 2012 or "Ferris Connect" in Fall 2012 or later).
  3. Earned a C or better in your online course.
  4. Agree that you have the necessary skills in the online system to be successful in future fully online courses.

If you meet the criteria identified above, please submit your name, email address, student ID number, and course information below, and submit for processing. Please allow at least1-2 business days for processing.
