If you are not certain whether an event is still scheduled due to severe weather, please contact the event sponsor.
For off-campus class cancellations at Ferris' locations throughout Michigan, watch for closures of the community colleges where Ferris classes are held.
Cancellation of classes means only that classes are not in session – the campus remains open. University employees are urged to use reasonable judgment regarding emergency conditions and personal safety in relation to their reporting for work. Employees not able to report to work (when classes are canceled, but the University is open) must notify their supervisor and must take personal leave, vacation time or time off without pay for their absence. For complete details on procedures, see the Inclement Weather Policy.
