***The staff of the Jim Crow Museum receives dozens of letters and emails. Some of these communiques offer insight into race relations -- historically and in the present. While some are hateful, we have decided to share some of these letters and emails with our Internet visitors.***

I have been become acutely aware of the emphasis in this country on the biases and cruelties shown Africans/African American. Oh yes, and Gays.

We are constantly bombarded with propaganda....and I say propaganda, because there has been a woeful omission of all of the groups who suffer almost as much, the same and more. These two groups have hogged and clogged the Senate, the Courts, the Media, and any organization that should be focusing on the big picture. As a female I have had my rights violated, and equally by people of colors and "non"-color. (why isn't there a word for them?). As a descendent of American Indians I am heart broken about this country's abandonment and very great cruelties to The People of this Land, a good people; and the failure to acknowledge the monstrosities and robberies of land, animals, families (lives).

The Native American's fate has been far worse than the African's since the very beginning to the colonization and the creation of a new nation. And their treatment has continued to be the poorest of any race, creed or color. There are many others groups tortured, bullied. and whose rights are denied.

As long a Gay Groups and Black Groups do not fight for justice and right for all people....all cultures, colors, size, able or disabled, anyone who is different . ANYONE WHO IS DIFFERENT SUFFERS FROM CHILDHOOD TO THE GRAVE IN THE US AND MOST OF THE EARTH. UNTIL YOU ADDRESS ISSUES FOR THE BETTERMENT OF ALL PEOPLES, I SEE YOU AS NO BETTER THAN THE WASPS YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT.

Jane

P.S. I am an old Liberal who is tired of nobody caring about people because they are poor, disenfranchised, and without strength. What, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, you say?
