From the director of Old School comes a new comedy about a bachelor party gone horribly wrong. Two days before his wedding, Doug (Justin Bartha) and his three buddies (Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis) drive to Vegas for a blow-out night they'll never forget. But when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning with pounding headaches, they can't remember a thing. Their posh hotel suite is beyond trashed and the groom is nowhere to be found. With no clue of what happened and little time to spare, the trio must attempt to retrace their bad decisions from the night before in order to figure out where things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in time for his wedding. However, the more they begin to uncover, the more they realize just how much trouble they're really in.

GET INVOLVED WITH MLK 2010!

On behalf of the Office of Multicultural Student Services and the 2010 MLK Celebration Planning Committee, we would like to announce to you several initiatives that you can get involved in supporting this year's upcoming celebration.

The 2010 MLK Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 17 through Thursday, Jan. 21 at Ferris State University and will feature several opportunities for you to engage together with others and celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

THIS IS HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED

  1. The 2010 MLK Poster Board Competition - A student, registered student organization or hall council can enter a poster board centered on this year's theme "THE JIM CROW ERA: THEN & NOW". *Please see attached flyer for contest details. Submission of poster boards will be due Wednesday, Dec. 9th to the Office of Multicultural Student Services in FLITE 159!

  2. The 2010 MLK Student Tribute - A student, registered student organization or hall council can participate in creating a presentation for the Annual Student Tribute, held Monday, Jan. 18th. If you are interested in participating, there will be a mandatory meeting you must attend Thursday, Nov. 19th at 5 PM in the Office of Multicultural Student Services in FLITE 159!

  3. 2010 MLK Legacy Award  - The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Award is given to a student and student organization that exemplifies excellence in leadership, passion for service and a demonstrated commitment to social responsibility in the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You must be nominated to be considered for recognition of this word by an FSU faculty or staff member and nominations will be due Wednesday, Dec. 9th via email to Michael Wade at michaelwade@ferris.edu *(please have your nominators include a narrative and any information on why you should be deserving of this award!)

  4. Contribute to the Jim Crow Museum - The Jim Crow Museum is the largest publicly accessible collection of racist artifacts in the country. With expanded space and greatly enhanced multi-media displays, the Museum will promote racial tolerance by helping people understand the historical and contemporary expressions of intolerance. You can help us turn that dream into a reality. For information, visit the website http://www.ferris.edu/jimcrow/ or contact Prof. Andy Karafa 231-591-2738.

All finalists and participants of the above MLK activities will be recognized at the 2010 Legacy Awards Dinner Thursday, January 21st. Thank you for your support and leadership in supporting the 2010 MLK Celebration!
