Progress for The BIG Event Updated at Student Government Meeting

The Student Government Association of Ferris State University discussed The BIG Event at its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 4.

Student Government sponsors and funds The BIG Event, an annual community-wide service effort, every year in April. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, April 12 and begins at Top Taggart Field.

Amanda Jewell, director of The BIG Event, announced the progress being made on the event as well and showed a video to give members a better idea of how they could assist.

Student Government also welcomed four new members into the General Assembly: Paul Squires, representing Alpha Chi Rho; Thu Vu, representing American Marketing Association; Tyler Tichvon, representing Entertainment Unlimited; and Zach Hill, representing Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Student Government meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. in College of Business, Room 211.
