Jamie Lynn Coar, a Ferris State University senior majoring in Health Information Management with a minor in Health, Illness and Society, was awarded the Call Family Scholarship in May 2014.
The scholarship is awarded to a full-time undergraduate student who shows academic merit and participates in university co-curricular programs and/or community activities.
Coar, the daughter of Jim and Patti Coar of Harbert, Mich., is a 2011 graduate of River Valley High School in Three Oaks, Mich.
