This Week at Ferris (Jan. 13): The Start of the Spring 2014 Semester

Monday, Jan. 13:

First day of spring semester classes

Tuesday, Jan. 14

11 a.m. and 5 p.m., FLITE 133 – MLK Celebration volunteer information session

Ferris students who would like to volunteer during the celebration are required to attend one of the informational sessions.

6 to 7 p.m., College of Business Room 211 – Student Government General Assembly Meeting

Wednesday, Jan. 15

Ferris Pride Day

Wear you Ferris Pride button and/or Ferris clothing or insignia and receive discounts at Barnes and Noble and more.

6 to 7 p.m., FLITE 304 – Office of Multicultural Student Services: T.O.W.E.R.S. Program Spring ’14 Kickoff

T.O.W.E.R.S. is a student-led Leadership Development program. Anyone interested in getting involved can attend the event for more information.

Thursday, Jan. 16

7 to 8 p.m., Williams Auditorium – Charles Peachock: Catch the Impossible (Extreme Juggler)

Two-Time Gold Medalist and World Champion Juggler has created a new, unprecedented approach to world-class juggling. He has taken the stage on America’s Got Talent and now he will take the stage at Williams Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday, Jan. 17

3 to 4 p.m., FLITE 214 – DOVEine Man of the Year Scholarship Pageant Informational

Male leaders on campus are invited to compete in the first annual DOVEine Man of the Year Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Kappa Theta Chapter. To compete for the crown, students must attend the informational meeting.
