‘Pancakes with the President’ Helps Fuel Students during Exam Week

Pancakes with the PresidentFerris State University students are invited to take a break from studying for final exams by heading to the Rock Café for “Pancakes with the President.” Ferris President David Eisler will be joined by faculty and staff to serve food to students beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9.

“Students should attend this event to interact with Ferris faculty and staff,” said Amanda Jewell, administrative assistant in Student Government. “This provides an opportunity to offer input to faculty and staff regarding university matters.”

Jewell, a senior majoring in Health Care Systems Administration and Diagnostic Medical Sonography from Marion Springs, Mich., noted that Brutus the Bulldog will be present to take pictures with students.

This free event, which typically attracts hundreds of students on the first day of finals week during the fall and spring semesters, will be open from 10 p.m. until 12 a.m. All Ferris students are invited to attend, but must show a valid student ID to enter the facility.

This event will also include games and prizes. “Pancakes with the President” is co-sponsored by Student Government and Dining Services.
