Erin Williams Named Ferris State University Student Government President

Erin WilliamsFerris State University student Erin Williams has been elected president of the university’s Student Government and will serve the fall semester of the 2013-14 school year.

Williams, a senior majoring in Allied Health Sciences from Macomb Township, has been a member of Student Government since 2011 and this year served as vice president. Williams will graduate after the fall semester, and Jessica Trendel, a junior majoring in Music Industry Management from Upland, Calif., will serve the spring semester.

“I want to help make life for students easier,” Williams said. “I want to make others realize the great things Ferris has to offer and the kind of difference, we, as students can make.”

Williams, a 2009 graduate of Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights, serves as pres­i­dent of the Res­pi­ra­tory Care Association and is a student recruiting associate.
