Community service, music and games are activities Ferris State University students can enjoy during Greek Week Monday, April 8 through Saturday, April 14 on the Big Rapids campus.
“Greek Week gives Greek organizations, and all other campus organizations, a chance to come together for service and fun,” said Paige Stevens, a member of the Greek Life Staff in the Student Leadership and Activities Office. “This week gives students a chance to unite and give back to the Big Rapids community.”
This year’s Greek Week theme is “Greek Grammys,” a student version of the popular music awards ceremony.
Greek Week events are as follows:
Greek Week saves the best for last as the weeklong celebration ends with The Big Event.
“The Big Event may be the most important aspect of Greek Week,” Stevens said. “Hundreds of students gather to help people in the community and it is truly a wonderful event.”
Greek Week is open to all Panhellenic Council sororities, Interfraternal Council fraternities and Black Greek Council sororities and fraternities.
Students who are not Greek are invited to attend Greek Week events.
