Ferris Senior Taima Dry Receives Student Excellence Award

Senior Taima Dry of West Branch received the College of Business Student Excellence Award on April 8 from Ferris State University.

To earn the Student Excellence Award, a student must be an undergraduate senior with 90 or more semester credit hours and must be enrolled in the College of Business. The student must demonstrate evidence of intellectual growth and superior academic performance with an overall grade point average of at least 3.25 while showing active leadership service and involvement in extracurricular activities.

While enrolled at Ferris, Dry has taken part in Ferris Idol, Relay for Life, Ferris State Military Support Group and Eta Sigma Delta.

She has also been awarded the Michigan Campus Compact Heart and Soul Award and has been a Dean’s List scholarship recipient since 2009.

Dry, the daughter of Angie Marsh, is studying Resort Management at Ferris and plans to graduate in May 2013.
