It’s time for students to come face to face with their goals as Ferris State University’s Career Services Office hosts Career Week, beginning March 26.
Career Week is an opportunity for students to attend a graduation fair, resume workshops, student workshops and more to strengthen career focuses.
“I encourage the Ferris community, including faculty, staff and students, to utilize this week to do at least one thing pertaining to their career whether it is attending a workshop, building their resume or interviewing with an employee for a potential job or internship,” said Angie Roman, coordinator of Career Services.
The goal of Career Week is to promote careers and career preparation, organizers said.
The week is open to the Ferris community and to students from all degree programs.
“We have created a whole week for students to view their careers on a larger scale. There’s something for everyone,” Roman said.
Emails will be sent out every day during Career Week to ensure that the campus community is aware of the events.
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate. Visit the Career Services website (http://www.ferris.edu/careerservices) for information about Career Week.
