Ferris to Host Native American Dance and Storytellers Event

Ziibiwing CenterFerris State University’s 2011 Native American Heritage Month celebration concludes with the “Native Dance and Storytelling” event as presented by the Ziibiwing Center of Anishinabe Culture and Lifeways on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Rankin Student Center Dome Room.

This year’s NAHM activities, as presented by Ferris’ Office of Multicultural Student Services, conclude with the second of two featured presentations. The event, which is free and open to the public, includes live music, dance and storytelling from representatives of the Ziibiwing Center of Mount Pleasant.

The 2011 NAHM activities are sponsored by OMSS, the Circle of Tribal Nations, the NAHM Planning Committee and the Ferris Arts and Lectures Performing Artist Series.
