Smile for the camera! Not only does the Bulldog Card serve as pictured identification, it is your key to many campus services.

What is a Bulldog Card?

The Bulldog Card is the official University I.D. card. Each student is issued a Bulldog Card when coming to Ferris for the first time. The Bulldog Card is used for entrance into the campus residence halls, dining units, student recreation center, racquet facility, athletic events, concerts and many other areas on campus. It also features a bar code on the back to check out materials and books from the Library.

The Bulldog Card has two magnetic stripes on the back of the card. The large stripe on the bottom identifies student enrollment status, meal plan, and other assigned privileges. If you choose to link your Bulldog Card to your Huntington checking account, this stripe also allows you to use your ID card to get cash from ATMs and to use it as a debit card for PIN-based purchases. The small stripe at the top is used only in the Library for making photocopies and printouts. Please note: Any funds placed on the Library stripe are lost if the Bulldog Card is lost. You should also notify Huntington to protect your checking account. If for some reason you need to get a new ID, you need to go to the FLITE building (the Library) first and have the money removed from the small stripe. You can then deposit money on the new card.

Lost Bulldog Cards

If you lose your Bulldog Card, you should call the Bulldog Card Center immediately, 24 hours a day, at (231) 591-2901. There is a $25 charge for misuse, replacement and lost or stolen Bulldog Cards.
