The Technology Assistance Center (TAC) is able to provide remote assistance to Mac and PC computers connected to a high speed Internet connection. We will be able to show you how to do something on your own computer, help get settings adjusted to get your computer working right, or even help you install software without your bring your computer to us or having to wait for a tech to visit your location.
Remote assistance for students is available through TeamViewer QuickSupport. Students should contact the TAC to start a work order for support. If the TAC representative is able to remotely assist, the TeamViewer QuickSupport client will need to be downloaded and installed on your computer. Faculty and Staff
Remote assistance for on campus PC computers is done using ZENWorks Remote Assistance. A ZENWorks client is installed on each Ferris owned computer. No download is required to utilize this service. Just call the TAC to start a work order for assistance.
Remote assistance for off campus personnel is available through TeamViewer service. Faculty and staff needing assistance should contact the TAC to start a work order for support. If the TAC representative is able to remotely assist, the TeamViewer QuickSupport client will need to be downloaded and installed on the computer.
