Windows XP Workstation Migration


On Windows XP machines, migration is automated before you arrive on the morning of the jump.  If you need assistance logging in, please refer to the Windows XP Logging in Help Guide.

 

Differences you will encounter after the migration:

  1. Novell client will be removed
  2. Shortcuts to network resources that you may have created will no longer work
  3. Recent documents in Office Suite will no longer work
  4. New drive mapping to new network shares
  5. Network printers should show in the Printer and Faxes section
