Active Directory Printers For Windows 7

After the migration to Active Directory, you will see a list of printers that have been assigned to your workstation. These printers will end in "FSUPS1." You may still have printers installed on your computer from the iPrint server. These printers will end in "161.57.5.119/ipp." You will want to delete these printers.

To delete a printer on a Windows 7 machine, follows these steps:

  1. Open Devices and Printers, which will be on the right column of your Start menu.
  2. Right click on the printers that you would like to remove
  3. Click Remove Device and click Yes when prompted

  1. Right click on the printer you would like to be your default
  2. Click Set as default Printer
