    Java and Other Browser Plugins
    Some of the Blackboard features require additional software to be installed.  Users may have to install additional software to access these features, or the user may have to acknowledge a browser message allowing the plugin to run on their system.

    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. From the menu bar, click on Tools > Internet Options
    3. If you do not see the Menu Bar, right click in the empty space to the right of the tab and select Menu bar, as shown in the image below. 
    4. From the menu bar, click on Tools, Internet Options.
    5. Click the "Delete ..." button in the "Browsing history" section.
    6. By default, the first four check boxes in the "Delete Browsing History" window are checked.  Confirm they are checked and click the "Delete" button.

    1. To see if you have Firefox, click on the start icon, looks like an orbit button.
    2. Enter Firefox in the "Search programs and files textbox."
    3. If it is installed, you should come up with the Mozilla Firefox and the icon in the search result.
    4. Click on the menu button  on the right side of the browser. 
    5. Click on the help question mark icon. 
    6. Select About Firefox.
    7. The version number is listed underneath the Firefox name.

    2. Click on the "History" icon.
    3. From the Time range to clear, click on the drop-down menu and select the desired range to clear.  To clear the entire chache, select Everything.

    4. Click on the "Get Installer" button.

    2. Press Ctrl, Shift, Delete.
    3. If done correctly, the below image should pop up. Click Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site and plugin data, and Cached images and files (or any other options you would like to delete).
    4. Make sure you specify the amount of time you wish to have deleted. Do this by clicking the drop down box at the top. Then press Clear browsing data.

    5. Your internet cache and/or history will be deleted.
    1. Open a command prompt in administrator mode (Start button > type cmd > right click "Command Prompt" and select Run As Administrator)
    2. Type in "ipconfig /flushdns" (without quotes) and press <Enter>
    3. Close command prompt window and try browsing to the new MyFSU web page (NOTE - you may have to also clear the browser cache as well)
