Export Course Content from FerrisConnect
- Log into FerrisConnect and select the course you would like to copy FROM.
- In the Course Management / Control Panel Menu, expand the Packages and Utilities drop
down menu and select "Export/Archive Course."
- Click the "Export" button.
- Scroll down to section 3 to "Select Course Materials."
- Click the "Select All" button. (If you choose to check the individual boxes of all
the areas you want to export, please be aware that if you are exporting content areas
that have assignments, you MUST CHECK the GRADE CENTER COLUMNS AND SETTINGS option
too!)
- Click the Submit button when finished.

- The green success bar at the top informs you that the export was successful, however,
you will not see it on the list because it takes a few seconds to run. Click on the
Home Page and then go back to the "Export/Archive Course" on the "Packages and Utilities"
to refresh and you should see your ExportFile listed with the current date created.

- Click the chevron button next to the ExportFile you want and select Open. Save the
file somewhere you will find it later when you are ready to import it into another
class.

Import Course Content from FerrisConnect
- Log into FerrisConnect and select the course you would like to copy TO.
- In the Course Management / Control Panel Menu, select "Import Package / View Logs."
Click the Import Package button.
- In section 2, select the package that you exported from Blackboard. It will be a .zip
file.
- Scroll down to Section 3 to "Select the Course Materials." Check the boxes of all
the areas you want to import.
- Click the Submit button when finished.
