IT Services Planned Outage - MyFSU, FerrisConnect, Wireless networking - November 7-8

Please read carefully as some of the maintenance is being done at different times due to availability of the support vendors.

On Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8, the following systems will be worked on. The end times listed are estimates of when we believe service will be restored; however, it may take longer.

Starting at 7 PM and ending about 9 PM

  • · Tegrity/Lecture recordings


Starting at 10 PM and ending about 11 PM

  • · MyFSU


Starting at 10 PM and ending about 2 AM

  • · FerrisConnect
  • · Network File access services (for example, your files on J: and H: drives)
  • · Network Printing in most offices


Starting about November 8th at 6:30 AM and ending about 7:30 AM

  • · Wireless Networking, including FSUStudent and FerrisWifi
  • · Wired Networking in the on-campus residence areas, including wired networking and those with cable modems.


If you have any problems with the services in the morning, first reboot your computer and log in to the network again. If you still are having problems with a system, please contact the TAC at 231-591-4822, or toll free at 877-779-4822.
