Since his graduation from Ferris, Steven London has served the Bekum America Corporation in Williamston, Mich. for nearly 30 years. Starting as an electrical engineer, his top performance and leadership skills have advanced him to his present position as executive vice president and chief operating officer with Bekum America. In 2012, he was awarded the Regional Growth Award from the Lansing Regional Chamber for Bekum America’s contributions to the Economic Growth of the greater Lansing region, as well as honors from the Plastics Industry Trade Association for his significant contributions to the National Plastics Expo of 2012.

Vivian Pickard

Vivian Pickard, who earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Administration from Ferris in 1977, has dedicated her life to promoting multiculturalism, education, health and human services, and community and environmental development. For 35 years, she has served General Motors in vital roles in human resources, finance and public policy. She currently is president of the General Motors Foundation and director of GM Corporate Relations.

Andrew Young

After graduating from the College of Pharmacy in 1979, Andrew Young returned to Durand, Mich., and worked for his father at Thompson’s Drug Store, which Andrew purchased two years later and owned until 1992. Shortly thereafter, he began his continuing service of more than 20 years for Rite Aid Pharmacy.  Young served as president of the Michigan Pharmacist Association Executive Board in 1994-95 during his tenure on the Board from 1989 to 1996.  He also served as a trustee of the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation from 1998 until 2005, and was chairman of its board from 2005-2011.

Dick Antonini is retired now, but the exemplary service to his industry and to his community continues to earn accolades. The 1964 Accounting graduate received an Honorary Doctorate of Business and Industry from Ferris during the 2013 Spring Commencement ceremonies.

Karl Huffman

Hedrick Associates in Grand Rapids, under its president, Karl Huffman, has grown from about one million in sales in 1986 to 15-20 million in 2012. Huffman, who continues to build his company with Ferris graduates, has established the Hedrick Associates HVACR Scholarship and the Huffman Family HVACR Scholarship.

Making moment-to-moment decisions may be the best thing Tim Murphy ever learned as a student in Ferris' Criminal Justice program. That skill has served the 1983 graduate well during his nearly 30-year career in law enforcement, most notably as the former No. 2 man in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Colonel George "Nick" Nicolas Jr. is the director of the Biomedical Sciences Corps and Chief of the Senior Leader Management Division in the Office of the Surgeon General. His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Achievement Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

Terrence Rollins

Terrence Rollins

Terrence Rollins is the Defense Logistics Agency's site installation energy manager in Philadelphia, where he serves as the expert energy engineer. He was named the 2010 Executive Professional of the Year for Facility Management and Energy Management by Cambridge Who's Who. In 2007 and '08, Rollins was named a Legend in Energy as part of a program sponsored by the Association of Energy Engineers.

Hazel Seaba

Hazel Seaba

Hazel Seaba is the associate dean for assessment, curriculum and compliance at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, where, for approximately 30 years, she was the director of the Division of Drug Information Service. A clinical professor in Pharmacy and International Programs, Seaba's teaching now focuses on building new opportunities in the Pharm.D. curriculum for community service learning, public health, and health care accessibility, both locally and globally.

Mike Suman has impressive credentials as both an independent businessman and as a corporate executive. As owner of Product and Market Development, he advises corporations how to accelerate growth. He has been awarded 51 patents, and has designed or co-designed and launched a number of successful products, including iLean flexible shelving and an e-display holder for electronic readers and tablet computers.
