Dual enrolling in college courses while still in high school is a great way for students to expand their interests and experiences while earning credits that may help them complete their college degrees sooner.
To help students prepare for the dual enrollment experience, Ferris State's Office of Transfer and Secondary School Partnerships holds orientation for parents and students.
Orientation for the 2016-17 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, 2016.

Orientation sessions will provide resources on:
- General student information (parking and student IDs)
- Buying books and attending class
- What to expect from university-level courses
Students will also have the opportunity to pick up their Fall 2016 class schedules if they RSVP.
Students will receive answers to frequently asked questions such as:
- How is tuition paid?
- Will my classes at Ferris transfer to another college or university?
