Misperception 5 - Something must be wrong with me because I don't know what to do, everyone else knew their major and career goals when they entered Ferris State University.

Career Wisdom: Most college students don't have a clear idea of what they want to major in or do for a career.  FACT: There are some students who may have a major or career in mind when they enter Ferris State University, and a few may actually stick with these original goals. The majority of entering college student's end up changing their minds about majors and careers several times before graduation. This is normal! With research and support, you can make decisions right for you. In fact, the average student who enters college with a declared major will change it between three and five times. On the other hand, the average student who enters college with an undeclared major changes only one to two times.
