Latest Program News
- As of September 2007 the Automotive and Heavy Equipment Management program is now
known as the Automotive Management program. This name change more accurately reflects
the true nature of the program as it has evolved over the years. This decision was
based on input from advisory committee members as well as university curriculum and
program review committees. We continue to welcome students from all automotive, auto
body, and heavy equipment related programs, both on campus and from community colleges
and trade schools throughout the country. After all, the true meaning of the word
" automotive" is anything that is self-propelled!
- An important element of our program is to continuously improve and meet the ever-changing
needs of the industries we serve. We welcome your comments and questions!
Web Changes
Another interesting change is the addition of two Facebook pages and a account with
Linked-in.com for the Automotive Management Program to help current students connect
with other students and alumni. Alumni may also connect with other alumni and current
students and faculty. Each one of these social networking pages were set up by current
