Charles Jehnzen Heavy Equipment Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semesters

Undergraduate sophomore student enrolled in Heavy Equipment Technology
Minimum GPA of 3.00
Financial need is considered*
Preference given to individuals who have demonstrated a high level of self-motivation, entrepreneurial spirit and interest in owning a heavy equipment related business, such as participation in professional organizations, registered student organizations or other extracurricular activities

Paul R. Johansen Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semesters

Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in Heavy Equipment Technology program
Applicants will demonstrate a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 at the time of application.
All undergraduate students, including incoming freshmen, current or transfer students are eligible to receive the award. Incoming freshman will provide a cumulative GPA through their official high school transcripts.
Applicants will be enrolled full-time during the semester or aid year in which they receive the award. Students in their final semester of study may are eligible to receive the award with an enrollment status of half-time or greater.
Applicants will be an undergraduate student enrolled in Heavy Equipment.
Applicants will demonstrate financial need as determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Consideration for need-based awards requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Recipients that continue to meet the required criteria may reapply to receive the award in subsequent years.

Ken Schmitigal Memorial Scholarship

Undergraduate student enrolled in Heavy Equipment Service Engineering Technology
Minimum GPA of 3.00
Financial need is considered*

Hubert and Marion Motry Endowment

Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semesters

Undergraduate student enrolled in Heavy Equipment Technology or Heavy Equipment Service Engineering Technology
Be at least 20 years old at the start of the semester or aid year in which they receive the award
Be a resident of the State of Michigan

*As determined by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid

Alta Equipment Company Annual Scholarship

Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semesters

Full-time or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in Heavy Equipment Technology or Heavy Equipment Service Engineering Technology
Minimum GPA of 2.00
Financial need is NOT considered
