Memorial Endowed Scholarship
 
Full cost of the Level I AIC Constructor  
Certification Examination application fee 

  • Senior enrolled in Construction Management
  • GPA is not considered
  • Financial need is not considered 
  • Additional requirements: Must have successfully passed the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) Level I Constructor Certification Examination at FSU; must be within nine (9) months  of graduation

Chapter 70 Endowed Scholarship
 
Scholarship amounts vary annually  
Divided equally between fall and spring semester 

  •  Full-time junior or senior enrolled in Construction Management
  •  Minimum GPA of 2.80
  •  Financial need is considered*
  •  Additional Requirements:  Student involvement is considered

 

American Subcontractors Association of Michigan Annual Scholarship
Scholarship amount $1,500

  • Full-time sophomore, junior or senior student
  • Must be enrolled in the Consstruction or HVACR programs
  • Minimum GPA 2.0 or higher
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements:  Must have demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm, leadership, volunteerism and involvement in their respective program and express a desire for a career in the subcontracting industry.
  • Preference given to students who have demonstrated involvement with the American Subcontractors Association of Michigan (via:  event attendance or internships)
  • Preference given to those students who reside in the association's membership geographical area.

 

Architectural Metals Annual Scholarship
One $1,000 Scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  •  Full-time student majoring in the Construction Management Program
  •  GPA is not considered
  •  Financial need is considered*

 

Builders Exchange of Grand Rapids & Western Michigan Endowed Scholarship 
Scholarship amount varies annually

Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time undergraduate majoring in Construction Technology & Management and/or
    Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
  • GPA of 3.0 at time of application
  • Financial need is NOT considered

 

Construction Association of  Michigan Don Purdie Memorial Annual Scholarship 
One (1) $2,500 scholarship 
Awarded at the spring semester 

  • Full-time student  
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25
  • Financial need is considered* 

 

Construction Management Industry Endowment Scholarship 
Three (3) $1,000 scholarship
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior enrolled in Construction Management
  • GPA is not considered
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional requirements:  Must have completed 24 semester credit hours at FSU and completed CONM 222

 

Duane E Bremer Endowed Scholarship 
Scholarship amount varies annually

Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • GPA is not considered
  • Financial need not considered
  • Additional requirements:  Extracurricular activities including student involvement in community service and student organizations is considered. 

 

Gerace Construction Endowed Scholarship
Scholarship amount varies annually 
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Financial need may be considered*
  • Additional Requirements: Must have demonstrated hands-on work experience 
    within the construction field

 

David L. Hamilton Endowed Scholarship 
Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior majoring in the Construction Management with a Building Construction concentration
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Financial need is considered*
  • Additional requirements:  Preference given to students who demonstrate a desire for a career in institutional and/or commercial construction.
  • Preference given to students who reside in the State of Michigan in the following counties:  Arenac, Bay, Gennesee, Huron, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Midland, Monroe, Oakland, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawassee, St. Clair, Tuscola, Washtenaw, and Wayne.

 

Harry Larson Memorial Endowed Scholarship 
Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time junior or senior enrolled in the Construction Management Program
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Financial need is considered*
  • Additional requirements:  Preference given to Construction Technology & Management and Facility Management students who demonstrate enthusiasm and participation in the program.

 

John Sebold Memorial Endowed Scholarship 
Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time freshman student enrolled in a Construction Technology & Management program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Financial need is considered*

  

Northern Michigan Road Commissioners' Association Endowment Scholarship
Scholarship amount varies annually
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time sophomore student enrolled in the CM Building Program
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Financial need is considered as determined by student financial aid office
  • Additional Requirements:  Preference given to recipients whose primary residence is from the noted counties - Oceana, Newaygo,  Montcalm, Isabella, Midland and Arenac to the Straits of Machinaw and is a Michigan resident.

 

Retail Contractors Association
(1) $750 Award
Divided equally between fall and spring semester

  • Full-time student
  • Minimum GPA is 3.0 in major and 2.5 overall
  • Financial need is not considered
  • Additional Requirements:  Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction; demonstrated interest in serving an internship with a member RCA company or summer employment with a commercial contractor
