Registration as a Pharmacist

College ImageState and Federal laws regulate the practice of pharmacy as a profession. Michigan laws are administered by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy. Requirements for registration as a pharmacist include:

  • Graduation from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Age of 21.
  • Good moral character.
  • Completion of a Board approved pharmacy internship.
  • Passage of the North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam (NAPLEX) and the Michigan jurisprudence examination.
