The Michigan College of Optometry of Ferris State University, in its ongoing role of supporting the educational needs of eyecare professionals, offers Practical Training for Opticians.
This course is being held as a response to the common question heard from eyecare professionals: "Where do I send a staff member who is new to the optician role to learn the fundamentals necessary to provide quality care to my patients?"
This course is intended for Optometry or Ophthalmology personnel who are performing optician tasks and are new to the position. Limit of 20 attendees to ensure maximum interaction with our expert instructors. Registration opening soon.
Dear MCO CE Attendees,
As you may know, the Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) has partnered with the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA) this year to host the Great Lakes Eyecare Conference (GLEC) in Grand Rapids, MI on June 15-17, 2017 at DeVos Place. The GLEC event combines two CE meetings, namely MCO’s Summer CE (which we previously hosted in Big Rapids) and the MOA’s Spring Educational. The goal is to make this event a large, comprehensive regional meeting for Optometric CE in Michigan with input from both MCO and MOA.
Don’t forget about the Michigan College of Optometry Reception on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 5:00 pm in the Gerald R. and Betty Ford Presidential Ballroom of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel immediately following the Friday CE lecture. All GLEC attendees are welcome to the reception.
If you have any questions, please contact Jamie (email@example.com) at the MOA (517-482-0616) or you can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about the event, please visit the GLEC Website: http://www.glecmi.org/
