The Michigan College of Optometry selects for admission to the Doctor of Optometry degree program the most qualified resident and non-resident applicants who demonstrate high intellectual/academic performance and clinical potential (personal qualities and accomplishments).   An in-depth knowledge of the optometry profession is recommended to further enhance the application.   All applicants are reviewed on their individual merits and also on their merits relative to the entire applicant pool.
