Resident Symposium 2014

The GP Lens Institute (GPLI) and the Contact Lens Manufacturers Association (CLMA) hosted their annual August GPLI Cornea and Contact Lens Resident Symposium at the Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) August 14-17, 2014. Twenty-seven residents from across the United States and Canada attended a weekend of training in custom soft and gas permeable contact lenses for patients with astigmatism, presbyopia and keratoconus as well as those with irregular corneas following surgery, disease or injury.

Presenters from MCO Dr. Bruce Morgan, Dr. Josh Lotoczky, Dr. Amy Dinardo, Dr. Chad Rosen, Dr. Stephanie Ramdass and Craig Norman along with industry guests Dr. Ed Bennett, Dr. Tom Quinn, Dr. Lynette Johns and Randy Kojima shared their fitting knowledge in various workshops and lectures designed to increase the attendees fitting skills.

Representatives from nine contact lens companies also participated by demonstrating the specifics of their products in different categories.

2014 GPLI Residents
