Joshua holds Bachelor’s and Master's degrees from Eastern Michigan University. He comes to Ferris from Washtenaw Community College, where he was the Director of Media Services and an Adjunct Video Production Faculty, and from Detroit Public Television, where he worked as an editor and camera operator on MAB-nominated and Emmy-nominated television programs. As a freelance shooter and editor based in Michigan, he shoots and edits documentary, corporate, and industrial video projects and has worked at various production facilities throughout the state for clients such as MasterCard, Chevrolet, and Dun & Bradstreet. Joshua’s work in video production has been recognized with a Telly Award, has been shown at several film festivals, and distributed internationally. His written work on the subject of film has been featured in the Journal of Popular Film and Television. Joshua really enjoys teaching: showing students new ideas and helping them to think about how they can use that knowledge to pursue their own goals.
