Graduation Clearances

Off-Campus Students

Criminal Justice off-campus students request their graduation clearances at by their advisor. The advisor then sends the grad card and grad clearance (signed by the student) to the School of Criminal Justice. The department will then review the information and send the grad card and grad clearance to the Student Academic Affairs Office to process the graduation information.

Education and Early Childhood off-campus students request their graduation clearances to be processed by the COEHS Education Counselor a year prior to the expected graduation date. The counselor will mail the grad clearance and grad card to the student to complete, sign and send back to the counselor. The counselor will then review the information and send the grad card and grad clearance to the Student Academic Affairs Office to process the graduation information.

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students excluding upper track Criminal Justice students, who make an appointment with their advisor, request their graduation clearances to be processed by the COEHS Education Counselor. This should be done one year prior to graduation. The counselor will meet with the student and complete the grad card and grad clearance. The counselor will then send the grad card and grad clearance to the Student Academic Affairs Office to process the graduation information.

Graduate Students
