  The KCP/Morris Hood Grant has give the School of Education grant funds to develop and encourage Teacher Education careers for students of diversity (which include high-needs, high-poverty, at-risk districts with significant percentages of under-represented populations). 

Through the assistance of this Grant Ferris State School of Education has implemented many new tools to assist students in their success:

* FerrisConnect On-line community
* Level II Clearance
*Student Policy Handbook
*MTTC Study Guides
* "A Game" training and certification 
*Financial Assistance with costs associated with MTTC testing
*Financial Assistance with LiveText Software
*Tutoring opportunities available to gain experience and network with schools 
*Financial Assistance with (School of Education-TEACH) apparel for Pre-student teaching
*MTTC subject area study library available for checkout and available online
*Limited Funds available for Scholarship while student Teaching
