
The KCP/Morris Hood Grant has give the School of Education grant funds to develop and encourage Teacher Education careers for students of diversity (which include high-needs, high-poverty, at-risk districts with significant percentages of under-represented populations).
Through the assistance of this Grant Ferris State School of Education has implemented
many new tools to assist students in their sucess:

* Level II Clearance
*Student Policy Handbook
*MTTC Basic Skills Practice Software
* "A Game" training and certification
*Financial Assistance with costs associated with MTTC testing
*Financial Assistance with LiveText Software
*Financial Assistance with apparel for Pre-student teaching
*MTTC subject area study library available for checkout
*Limited Funds available for Scholarship while student Teaching
