
Description:
The FSU Symphony Band is a concert band that started in the Fall of 2005 and presents
a series of varied and diverse concerts throughout the year.
Membership:
The FSU Symphony Band is open to all Ferris students who are experienced players
of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. It is also open to experienced adult
community members and talented musicians who are members in good standing with their
high school music program. Playing interview required.
Rehearsals:
Wednesdays 7:30p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Yes! - Music 160: Symphony Band.
Meets General Education requirements: Cultural Enrichment. 1 Credit, repeatable.
Scholarships:
Yes! Ability-Based Scholarships awarded based on attendance, contributions to ensemble
& number of performances.
We invite all experienced players of brass, woodwind and percussion instruments to join the FSU Symphony Band.
