The Writing Center is a free tutoring service provided by Ferris State University
to all Ferris students. Our mission is to provide help with all aspects of the writing
process, from preliminary brainstorming and outlining, to revising and polishing final
drafts. We can also offer help writing business letters, applications, and resumes
as well as with spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
We offer face-to-face, on-site tutoring in ASC 1017 with paraprofessionals and student tutors and receptionists. Online we offer e-mail tutoring, as well as this web page which has information about
the center, worksheets, and on-line writing practice tutorials.
