• Joined the Ferris Faculty in 1983 as Assistant Professor of English
• Directed the Writing Center, 1985-1995
• Headed the Department of Languages and Literature, 1995-2005
• Served as the Interim Associate Dean of the College of Arts Sciences, 2002-2005
• Appointed as the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs in 2005
• Appointed as the Associate Vice President for Operations and  Assessment, July 2005
• Returned to faculty, 2007
• Currently serves as program coordinator for Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Integrative Studies
