Profile:
John Caserta's field of concentration is Twentieth Century British and American Literature
with a specialization in James Joyce. He also teaches creative writing, Italian literature,
American Popular Literature, and courses in the violence of literature. He has been
a recipient of the Michigan Association of Governing Board Teaching Award and the
International Teacher of the Year Award. He directs the Italian Study Abroad program
and serves on the editorial board of the department's literary journal, The Prism.
